As a builder and an artist it's fun to create something that's never been seen before. We know every child is an artist. Maybe an artist is just a child that refuses to give up his crayons. And if my paintings can add a touch of mystery and a splash of color to your home, we both win.
My first choice for finishing my paintings is a thick crystal clear epoxy because it really makes the colors pop, but these are one of a kind pieces of artwork and not something mass produced in some sterile factory overseas. I will ship, but I would rather you looked it over in person than have it shipped and be unhappy that it has a couple of air bubbles or a ripple in the finish. Prices shown don't include shipping or sales tax.
Robbin Ashburn
Blessed to be born and raised in small town Nebraska. After serving in the Army Infantry, I attended then Kearney State College graduating in 1976 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree majoring in bronze casting and printmaking. My intent was to continue my education in architecture, but I had an opportunity to learn from a master home builder and found I had a passion for building things. When the housing market went through a rough stretch, I became a letter carrier retiring after 30 years of service. I continued designing and building homes during this time. I also built a line of Craftsman style furniture while pursuing other artistic outlets including glass carving, stained glass and painting. Now retired I enjoy creating furniture and art work in my woodshop/studio.
